Nobody want to interact with unstable mental person, means wild, with skinny jeans.
Man with fear, no courage, nor brave to talk gently with another guy. Or so with emo label, means long hair, black eyes, lips, carrying drugs everywhere while depressed and thought that the life won't give them any of joy ( note that not every emo person just like in my description ).

People always saw them everywhere on the streets, full body tattoo, but little girly in style. But actually,  this kind of depressed is culturally, judged to be worse than what they were. The more people judge them, the more them, to resist social, and sometimes become anarchist.

What i'm going to write on this page is simple, everyone who think emo is cool, some fashion with hoody, jeans, or skinny shirt, just don't make it so complicated. I know that everyone who read this post, will think it's bullshit things, but think about it, don't dress to looks like what you don't know much. And to everyone who think emo is cult, person with incapability of managing themself and so their life, don't think like this. Fashion is kind of blur things lately.

Anyway, i was raised in punk society, people who love punk gigs, not like pop punk and some shit or garbage major recs trash that play the culture make us disappoint for it.
I play guitar for many band, my punk band those sounds like Antiflag, NOFX, etc, my britpop band ( sounds like Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, The Smith),  iceland music ( shoe gaze etc. ).
I was totally dress with mohawk hair cut, skinny jeans, doctor martin shoes i bought original one from UK. It seems comfortable because what ? Because i was raised in the manner of its, not because "whoa ! this is cool ! i want to be like them !" - those teenagers say everyday. I don't care what kind of music i play, because it doesn't matter to me, "hey, i feel so comfortable wearing all of these, anyone don't like me or my style, just go away, go fuck yourself"

So, anyone who come and see this post should be generally splits into two sides, both of pro and contra, but

an old quote sounds true to everyone :
Don't judge a book from its cover !

Here, it's kind of gift from many person i know, my ex band partners, and others, not emo, but you'll enjoy all of it :)

Another rule for being emo is, wearing your gloves :p
Many people ask me for this, "is wearing somekind of gloves would refer us to emo guys ?"
It is not actually, but it only give you the proportion fashion for being emo.
Remember, the proportion, doesn't mean the mainly part of thing, but give support either.
All you have to remember is, emo, is not kind of style, with dressed emo then we will become an emo personally, but it's a soul.
Oke, let's get back to the topic, Gloves.
Wearing gloves will give us some artistic of Emo looking, though make you more comfortable while being outside, as we know that emo guys are mainly the culture of broken home and something like that :p

Second rule being EMO

Emotion and feelings and all kind or stuff is related to Emo can't only be expressed in music, as we know that Emo is a culture, sometimes, musician emo or just emo fans write the things in a story or a poetry.

There's lot of artist those carrying Emo Culture to the surface of media, within them, there's also other genres that's not exactly linked with Emo Culture, but involved in fashion, therefore sometimes people might not describes what is truly Emo. :D

A Static Lullaby, for example, they're not truly emo but carrying Emo Culture with their songs and fashion even it maybe only in the beginning.

A Short Biography

A Static Lullaby is a post-hardcore band formed in Chino Hills, California in 2001. Their sound consists of distorted or screaming vocals countered with melodic singing.

Formed in 2001 in Chino Hills, CA, the group began with singer Mike Ainsley, bassist Phil Pirrone, drummer Brett Dinovo, and guitarists Dan Arnold and Nathan Lindeman. And it started a buzz about the band that continued to be built upon throughout the local circuit.

In September 2001 A Static Lullaby recorded their first song called Withered. Released it as a demo and burned CDs with the song on it. They then recorded 2 other songs A Sip of Wine Chased With Cyanide and A Song for a Broken Heart, they released their EP in 2002, Withered was sold about 6,000 copies. And so they toured, performing the songs taken from the EP across the West Coast Signing and first two albums (2002 – 2005)

Signed a contract with Ferret Records in 2002 A Static Lullaby After went on to create their first album called And Don't Forget to Breathe and spent 18 long months on the road supporting their debut album, sharing stages with such acts as AFI, My Chemical Romance and Brand New.

It's hard to get you haircut being associated with emo culture right ?

There's lot of hoodies that bring you to the emo fashion style, which has very bright line or stripes color, and basic dark color. It's depending on what suit with your other apparel. But it should be associate with emo fashion trend, which likely emo culture as far as it's fashionable emo style.

1. Bring Hoodies as the part of your wardrobe. Why hoodies, it easy to associated hoodies sweeter or jacket, or eventually hoody t-shirt with Emo Fashion.
2. Tight jeans, or Skinny jeans, are the second rule for being an emo.
3. Gloves, i mean gloves which fingerless, it would add characteristic of emo culture, and there're variaty of design, strip, and color, with light or dark contour.
4. Scarves, wear it if you would be in emo fashion.
5. Flat Shoes, i mean not skate shoes, nor basketball shoes, it's typically like Converse and Van, combat boots too, but it's optional, you can wear other if it match with your dressed
6. Make up, you should try lip gloss, eye shadow, as it is the part of emo fashion.

What kind of Emo guys ? That's the question i put in search engine, so what is it look like ? Emo Fashion looks like antigender fashion, which i mean you'll find male and female who wear those fashion would be looks like no different. For me this called antigender, hahaha LOL. *i'm kidding dude.
